Cannes might’ve tightened up the dress code this year, but that didn’t stop Hollywood’s brightest from showing up—and showing out—on the red carpet. The new guidelines leaned toward classic elegance over flashy extravagance (long, dramatic trains) and A-listers gracefully embraced the challenge. Irina Shayk nailed the brief, dipping into fashion history with a vintage Yves Saint Laurent number straight off the Fall ’98 runway at the Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning premiere. Rihanna, meanwhile, turned maternity style on its head, proudly showcasing her baby bump in a vibrant blue midriff-baring Alaïa ensemble. Elsewhere, Lebanese actress Razane Jammal attended the Two Prosecutors screening, catching eyes in a dreamy, sheer cream Dior gown.
The men didn’t slack, either. Severance star Tramell Tillman looked effortlessly cool and impeccably tailored in a double-breasted Dolce & Gabbana suit, while Succession’s Jeremy Strong kept things fresh and unexpected in a bespoke pale green Loro Piana tuxedo.
