French luxury house Dior and the Azzedine Alaïa Foundation are joining forces this fall to present a historic double exhibition in Paris, shining light on Alaïa’s extraordinary, and until recently, hidden, collection of vintage Dior.
From Nov. 20, 2025 to May 3, 2026, La Galerie Dior will showcase more than 100 garments from the late Tunisian couturier’s collection, many unveiled to the public for the first time ever. In parallel, the Azzedine Alaïa Foundation will present 30 Dior designs from Alaïa’s archive, paired with an equal number of his own creations, illustrating how Dior’s groundbreaking designs inspired and intersected with Alaïa’s lifelong pursuit of sartorial perfection. That exhibition will run from Dec. 1, 2025 to May 3, 2026.
Both shows will be curated by Olivier Saillard, director of the Alaïa Foundation.

“Christian Dior’s models testify to the relentless quest that Azzedine Alaïa had unwaveringly set his heart upon. In search of the mysteries of dresses and the delicate structures that make vaporous petticoats ‘stand up,’ he skillfully brought together the objects of his adolescent dreams,” Saillard said about the forthcoming exhibitions.
With both shows offering us more to see, feel, and understand about the mind of one of North Africa’s greatest designers, the coming months promise a wealth of never-before-seen insights into one of fashion’s most influential visionaries.
